Our role

We oversaw the entire London 2012 project. Visit the Government Olympic Communication online press centre.

We supervised £9.3 billion of public sector funding which came from a variety of sources including central Government, London authorities and the National Lottery. We have produced Quarterly Economic Reports and Annual Reports* which provide a full financial update.

We ensured that the Games were delivered on time, on budget and for the benefit of the whole country.
